CIEH Level 3 Award in Training Skills and Practice (Previously - Professional Trainer Certificate)
This qualification equips trainers with the core skills to design and deliver effective group training and events. It covers improving communication skills, hot to exhibit positive body language and how to read the body language of others. It extends basic training techniques by encouraging a dynamic and flexible approach to training delivery, taking into account some of the recent advances in accelerated learning and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).
Support Work in Schools City and Guilds Level 3 Award
This qualification includes two mandatory units which cover the essential skills you need to support the ethos, policies and working practices of your school and respond effectively to the needs of children and young people. Your school and assessor will also help you choose one or more optional units so you can tailor your qualification to your own role or roles.
Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Apprenticeship (Previously Teaching Assistant)
This Apprenticeship is specifically designed for those working in a school as a teaching assistant. The qualification will cover topics including; helping with classroom resources and records, provide support for learning activities, help with the care and support of pupils and providing effective support for your colleagues.
Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Apprenticeship Advanced (Previously Teaching Assistant Advanced)
This Apprenticeship is specifically designed for those working at an advanced level as a teaching assistant. The qualification will provide an advanced level of skills and knowledge and covers topics such as; contributing to the management of pupil behaviour, eastablishing and maintaining relationships with individual pupils and groups of pupils, supporting pupils through learning activities and reviewing and developing professional practice.
Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools NVQ Level 2
This qualification replaces the Teaching Assistant NVQ Level 2 and reflects developments in working practice and the wider range of roles undertaken by teaching and learning support staff. The NVQ is for those supporting teaching and learning in any type of school; primary (inlcuding foundation stage); secondary; special; pupil referral units.
